B4C consists of 7 macro-activities (WP): WP1 – Management and coordination; WP2 – Preparation; WP3 – Training course for 80 boxing coaches and 40 schoolteachers; WP4 – Training course for teens articulated first in the practical part and then in the theory (learning by doing approach); WP5 – Inspirational workshops and meetings with the Boxing Champions; WP6 – the Joy summer camp as the final culmination of the experience; WP7 – Communication, Impact and Dissemination activities.
WP1 – Management and coordination

Project Management is carried out during the entire project duration (2 years). The main objective of the management is to guarantee the achievement of the intermediate and final goals of the project with respect to the fixed deadlines, defined budget, declared quality
Tasks
Project management: the task builds a positive working environment and help the consortium to perform well all the activities during the project. FPI is responsible for the lean development of all project activities, with a direct support and an active participation from all the partners.
Kick-off meeting: it is the first operative step useful for the presentation of project team, the preparation of tools (Project Vademecum and Quality Plan), the definition of the agenda and the design of the netx paths
Coordination meeting: the aim of the task is to to continually update on the progress of the project. These will be held online as they will be opportunities for operational discussion and will save on travel and allow for safe meetings
Final meeting: the final meeting aims at collecting the results and strengthening the network among partners to open up to new members or plan future collaborations.

WP2 – Preparation

The specific objective of this work package is to organize all the necessary training materials for the implementation of subsequent activities (such as the preparation of useful training materials, selection of coaches and teachers, selection of schools and juvenile prisons).
Tasks
Training materials preparation: the partners are in constant contact for the preparation and realization of all the contents/materials useful for the training activities foreseen by the following WP3 and WP4.
Coaches involvement: the coaches are selected on the basis of their experience and previous projects in which they have participated. The selections is organised during M3- M5 of the project to choose the ideal candidates to take part in the activities. The ideal candidates is chosen in accordance with regional committees that will make a selection based on specific characteristics. The internal FPI staff involved in the project makes the final selections.
Schools involvement: the FPI has a large presence on the Italian territory and in the past years has created a solid network of Secondary Schools. The schools are selected with the collaboration regional committees, which chooses the candidates on the basis of the indicators as well explained in the specific section.
Schoolteacher involvement: not a real selection is made, but the choice of teachers will be consequent to the choice of schools and classes that will take part in the Project.
Juvenile prisons involvement: FPI and RBF are already able to manage relationships with the juvenile prisons because of past activities. This made the task easier because they are already familiar with the legislation and dynamics of these particular institutions. While in Spain, Scholas will rely on the Spanish boxing federation as well as its contacts developed during past projects with secondary schools and juvenile Penitentiary institutions.

WP3 – Training course for coaches and schoolteachers

The specific objective of this work package is to train the trainers (Coaches and Physical Education Teachers) to achieve new competences and achieve the goals set by the project.
Tasks
Coaches training: the activity is aimed at training the coaches working with the youngster for whom the project is intended, on an ethical-value level, to complete their sports background and to achieve the inclusion objectives set by the project.
Schoolteachers training: the activity is aimed at training the teachers working with the youngster for whom the project is intended, on an ethical-value level, to complete their sports background and to achieve the inclusion objectives set by the project.

WP4 – Training course for teens

The specific objective is to encourage children to participate in sport and physical activity, training them in the development of cognitive, coordination and conditioning skills, technical and tactical skills through specific boxing.
Tasks
Teen training – Practical Boxing Course: it is 10 classes of 1 hour each. They will last for 5 weeks (2 lessons for week) and they will take place during school’s hour. The practical boxing course was deliberately planned before the theoretical course to immediately capture the teen’s attention.
Teen training – Theoretical Boxing Course: It is 9 (1 hour each) on-line boxing theory lessons on an e-learning platform, which the teens can follow together with their physical education teachers during school.

The specific objective is to encourage and motivate teens to practice sport meeting face to face a box champion telling his life and sport experience.

Workshop: inspirational and participative experience, focused on ethical aspects on the themes of integration and violence prevention, equal opportunities, and social recovery
